We had our most recent general meeting on Sunday, March 28th, 2010. We had a nice turnout, thanks to all who attended!
Three people have joined DWO for the first time -- we welcome Donna Babbs (Secretary), Denise St. Cyr (Member-at-large) and Abbie DeMattei (Member-at-large). Their portraits will be up as soon as we get photos -- we will be updating all other photos of board members as well.
Julie Crossen was elected to another term as Member-at-large/ Senior Citizen Liaison.
Jenna Beacom is now President of DWO, and Susie Bachtel moves to the Past President position. (We ask our presidents to make a three-year commitment; first as President-elect for a year, then as current President for a year, and finally as Past President for a year.) Betsy Bachtel is our new President-elect.
We thank Marty Thacker, Marie Potts and Tammey Penny for their invaluable service to DWO. All of them will stay involved with committees and other assistance, and we're very grateful for that too!
